Greater Manchester is home to some confusing place names. Regardless whether you grew up in the region or not, there are some places which are certainly difficult to pronounce.
Some words look as though they should be said in a certain way, but in reality are pronounced very differently. Worsley Mesnes anyone?
We spoke to people on the streets of Manchester to find out if they could pronounce some difficult place names correctly and the results were mixed to say the least. You can watch our video above.
