Bury Black Pudding Company will appear on Inside The Factory on BBC One tonight (February 4). The programme, hosted by Paddy McGuinness and Cherry Healey, explores the fascinating production processes behind some of Britain’s favourite foods.
The company has been producing black pudding for generations, staying true to a time-honoured recipe and production methods while adapting to the evolving tastes of modern consumers with chilli, vegetarian and gluten free alternatives.

Starting off as a small butchers, the company has grown into a recognised British brand that employs 110 amazing local staff. Over 100 tonnes of black pudding each week at the factory based in the heart of Bury - equivalent to 435,000 slice packs a week.
Matthew McDermid, Brand and Marketing Manager at The Bury Black Pudding Company said: "This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the heritage and passion that goes into making our black pudding. We are incredibly proud of our history and our role in bringing this traditional product to consumers, we can’t wait for the nation to see how the UK’s leading brand of black pudding is made."
The Bury company take centre stage on the show on Tuesday February 4 on BBC One. The show will start at 8pm, and will also be available on BBC iPlayer in case you miss it.
