Great Manchester Run 2024: 90 brilliant pictures as thousands take to the streets for half marathon

The rain held off long enough for the Great Manchester Run to get underway on Sunday 26 May, with thousands of runners taking part in the half marathon and 10k races. 

Both races were open to runners of all abilities, many of whom were running to raise money for charities. Here are some photos from the race – try and see if you can spot yourself.
