Great Manchester Run 2023: 51 pictures of 10k runners – including Sir Mo Farah

The Great Manchester Run took place today, with runners competing in both the 10k and half marathon races.

One of the UK’s most celebrated Olympians, Sir Mo Farah, took part in the 10k, finishing eighth overall. This was the penultimate race of his career, ahead of the final one at Newcastle’s Great North Run in September. The long-distance runner was also the voice of the Manchester Metrolink announcements last week in the run up to the event.
