Platt Fields park in Rusholme welcomed around 20,000 people from the Muslim community as they came together to celebrate Eid al-Fitr and the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
The public gathering took place on 21 April and is believed to be among the largest in the UK. It was a chance for families and friends to come together, worship and eat after a month of fasting.
The annual ‘Eid in the Park’ event started with prayers at 9.45am and the celebrations continued into the evening. There were food stalls, market stalls and a fun fair.
Here are some photos from the event.
