A taxi driver has had their licence suspended by police at Manchester Airport.

A joint licensing operation at Manchester Airport was carried out this week by Greater Manchester Police’s Commercial Vehicle Unit (CVU) and City of Wolverhampton Council Licensing which led to more than 30 taxi and private hire vehicle checks being carried out.

During the checks, four drivers were issued with compliance notices and one driver had their taxi licence suspended following further investigation.
