Coca-Cola Christmas truck UK tour confirmed - when is it coming to Manchester?

Coca-Cola has confirmed that its much beloved Christmas Truck will hit the road this winter, but if it will stop in Manchester is still to be confirmed. The iconic tour has become a Christmas staple across the UK, having first toured the country back in 2010.

The tour had previously started off in Scotland, and from there made its way down south with stops in cities like Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester. Last year, the tour ended in Milton Keynes after having visited Scotland, England and Wales.

2021 saw the long awaited return of the lorry to Manchester after the pandemic had forced the tour to be cancelled in 2020. The Coca-Cola Christmas Truck spent three days at The Trafford Centre from December 3 to 5, 2021.

When will we know if the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour is coming to Manchester 2022?

The Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour is coming to Asda Eastlands in Manchester on Friday December 2, 2022. More dates are released over time, so if the truck will stop anywhere near Manchester again in the future is yet to be announced.

The popular drinks company said that announcements about the schedule will be announced on its social media accounts @CocaColaEU (Instagram) and @CocaCola_GB (Twitter).

What has Coca-Cola said about the Christmas Truck Tour 2022?

According to Coca-Cola, this year’s Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour will be bigger than before, and will feature a ‘winter market’ setting with activities for the whole family to get involved in. The tour will also feature interactive games accessible through QR codes, opportunities to have your photo taken in front of the iconic lorry, and food huts serving seasonal tastes.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase personalised Coca-Cola drinks with names of quotes on them. And as the drink has become synonymous with Christmas over the years, the iconic ‘Holidays Are Coming’ advert will return on TV’s around the UK at the end of November. The Coca-Cola Truck will bring with it a magical winter wonderland with a ‘Your Presence is Your Present’ theme to donate 100,000 meals to those in need this Christmas season. Supporting FareShare, Coca-Cola will fund the equivalent of one meal per person attending the Truck Tour.
