Co-op Live opens its doors to the public on April 23

A project in Manchester that has been in the works for years is ready to finally open its doors. Co-op Live will host its first public gig on April 23 when comedian Peter Kay takes to the stage.

The excitement has been building for the venue, which was opened to a select few for an intimate gig night on April 20. Amongst performers were Everything Everything and the iconic Rick Astley.

We were there to get a sneak peak of what Co-op Live has in store for fans. We’ve collected some of the best photos of the night as the city looks forward to the grand opening.
