The big Co-op Live news this week was the announcement of four Billie Eilish gigs in summer 2025. This was something positive for the venue, which didn’t have the best of starts with rearranged gigs and the resignation of its general manager Gary Roden.
Looking ahead, as all music fans with tickets to gigs at the venue will be, Billie Eilish will perform on July 19,20, 22 and 23 2025 as part of her ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ tour, her first Manchester shows in what will be three years.

Hide AdFans buying tickets had the first chance to on April 30 with the opening of the presale window. General sale ticket sales begin at noon on Friday May 3 through Ticketmaster, See Tickets and other major ticket providers.
Fans who have snapped up tickets already will have spotted a £1 levy when purchasing, something that has been called for in the UK to support grassroots venues. The £1 levy will go towards a group called Reverb.
The calls for a levy on big arena and venue tickets in the UK is one that is gaining momentum. Grassroots venues in Greater Manchester have also supported the movement, saying that it will help to maintain places for up-and-coming acts to get a foot in the door within the industry.

According to their website, Reverb is a not-for-profit organisation that is ‘dedicated to empowering millions of individuals to take action toward a better future for people and the planet.’ A large part of this is done through teaming up with musicians, venues and festivals to make these events more green.

Hide AdAs well as Billie Eilish, the group has worked with other big music acts including Paramore, Pink and The 1975. The £1 taken from each ticket sold for the Co-op Live shows will go towards supporting the work of Reverb.
