One in five buses have not been running on time in Greater Manchester. This has been blamed on roadworks, traffic jams and driver shortages by transport staff.

According to data from earlier this year, delays have been affecting around 80 percent of the buses in the region and people have been late to work and appointments because of this. This news comes after bus fares were capped on September 4 as part of Transport for Greater Manchester’s Destination: Bee Network scheme.
