The best and worst GP practices in Greater Manchester for booking appointments, according to patients
The results are based on the NHS GP Patient Survey, with the data spanning the period from January to April this year.
The best and worst GP practices in Greater Manchester for booking appointments according to patients have been revealed.
The data team at our sister title NationalWorld analysed the results of the latest NHS GP Patient Survey to see whether people thought it was easy or hard to book in to see a doctor.
The survey, which is produced by Ipsos on behalf of NHS England, contacted people between 10 January and 11 April to ask how they felt about numerous aspects of their GP practices, including the systems for booking appointments.
Across England, almost a quarter (23.4%) of respondents said the overall process of booking appointments was ‘very good’, a third (32.8%) rated it as ‘fairly good’ and 17.9% said it was ‘neither good nor poor’.
However, not everyone was as impressed with the process of booking appointments, with 13.5% of people saying it was ‘fairly poor’ and 12.4% describing it as ‘very poor’.
Here we reveal the half a dozen best-rated GP surgeries for booking appointments in Greater Manchester and the six where patients felt there was much left to be desired.
