Bee Network: Rochdale Metrolink work to close large sections of line- bus replacement details announced

A large section of the East Didsbury to Rochdale Metrolink line is to be closed this Sunday. This is for essential maintenance work on the line.
The Bee Network has reminded passengers that the line will be closed between Freehold and Rochdale Town Centre. The closure will be in place for the whole of Sunday September 24, with service resuming on Monday September 25.

Hide AdA replacement bus service will be in operation throughout the day. Buses will be in operation on a 12-minute frequency between Rochdale Town Centre and Freehold in both directions. TfGM have asked passengers to note that replacement bus services will not stop at Oldham Central, however, Oldham King Street is a five minute walk away.
The network has also confirmed what some of the first and last buses of the day will be. This information is below:
Freehold to Rochdale Town Centre - The first bus will be at 6.25am and the last bus will be at 12.01am.
Rochdale Town Centre to Freehold - The first bus will be at 5.57am and the last bus will be at 11.45pm.
Rochdale Town Centre to Victoria - This only applies to the last service to the city centre, so that you can make your onward connections from central Manchester. This service leaves Rochdale Town Centre at 11.57pm.
