Transport for Greater Manchester is calling on people who travel through a busy route in Salford to share their views of it. Views are being sought on the Salford Crescent to MediaCityUK number 50 bus route with hopes it will help to make the journey more time efficient.

TfGM has said that People’s feedback will be used to “help shape bus and active travel improvements” in the area with a wider goal of supporting sustainable, better quality and more reliable journeys along the route. The views from people who use the route will also be used to improve the walking and cycling options on the way.

Stephen Rhodes, Director of Bus at TfGM, said: “We are getting on with delivering the Bee Network and this latest engagement exercise is an example of how people can have their say on improving transport in their area.  Salford Crescent to MediaCityUK is a busy route connecting two strategic locations in the city – and there is a strong requirement for a high-quality and reliable public transport service connecting these important destinations.

"We want to learn more about people’s experiences of using this route so that we can develop improvements for bus and active travel and strengthen connectivity in the area.  With all that in mind, I would encourage as many people as possible to take part in the survey and have their say in shaping local transport services.”

“It’s really important for users of this particular route to share with us their experiences as well as their thoughts on what could be improved. This feedback is vital to help us shape fit for purpose improvements around this route in the future.”
