Aldi aims to open new supermarkets in 21 Greater Manchester locations as part of 100-store expansion
and live on Freeview channel 276
Aldi says it will open 100 new stores across the UK over the next two years.
The popular discount chain already has 920 branches but says it will invest £1.3 billion by 2023 to open the equivalent of one new store a week.

Hide AdAnd it has named Greater Manchester among the areas where it is seeking new sites to build more 20,000sq ft stores.
Richard Thornton, of Aldi UK, said: “Our focus is on expanding our store estate, making sure Aldi is accessible to as many of these new shoppers across the country as possible. Looking ahead, we are excited to provide millions of new customers with access to Aldi’s award-winning quality and unbeatable value as we create even more places and more ways to shop with us.”
