Today is National Burger Day (August 24) and one acclaimed city centre restaurant is making a generous offer by reducing burger prices to what they were 15 years ago.

That’s right - 15 years ago, when prices were cheaper and our wages were, erm, just the same.

But anyway.....

Hawksmoor Restaurant are rolling their prices back to 2008 until the end of the month with their esteemed burgers being a whopping £7.25 cheaper, so that’s one reason to be cheeful.

This generous offer is to celebrate National Burger Day and 15 years since their legendary hamburger debuted.

The restaurant have advertised their offer on social media, with instagram followers expressing delight.

The Hawksmoor Hamburger, previously voted one of the best in Europe, is made from grass-fed beef and bone marrow nuggets, topped with melted, gooey Ogleshield cheese and all the tasty trimmings.

The offer began on August 21, but if you haven’t taken advantage of it yet, there is still time as it’s running until Thursday August 31.

Hawksmoor will offer burger, fries and drink for just £18 in Manchester, instead of the 2023 price of £25.25.

Whats more - Hawksmoor works closely with farmers on quality, animal welfare and sustainability, and all the beef is ethically reared, so that’s another bonus.
