For many students across Greater Manchester, the big day is almost here. A-Level results day 2023 falls on August 17- with the next steps for students on the horizon.

Students will receive their results from early morning at schools and colleges across the region. For many, these results will have a say on which university they end up at for the next stage of their learning journey.

If you don’t get onto your desired university course, or if you wish to change course, then have no fear. The clearing system is once again up and running and will enable you to look at other options.

The way clearing works is very similar across universities and colleges, and each have a dedicated clearing team. Clearing opened earlier in the summer, but you are unable to use clearing until you have the all important A-Level results.

You will need your results and you’ll not be able to apply for clearing if you hold an offer from a university. First, you will need to decline the firm offer.

We’ve collected together information and contact details about how to get involved at clearing at universities across Manchester. Included are contact details for each establishment.
