Getting a place for your child in your preferred school is always a stressful time for parents, especially for those whose youngsters are just starting out on their educational journey.
Thankfully parents waiting to find out where their child will start reception in September do not now have long to wait as National Offer Day falls on Monday 17 April.
Ahead of then, we’ve had a look at some of the primary schools across Manchester which are succeeding at giving the youngsters in their classrooms the best possible start in life.
These 17 primary schools across the city have been given the best-possible rating of Outstanding by the education inspectorate Ofsted.
And if you are unhappy with a school place offer, you can contact the council in the area where the school is based to appeal.
