Veganuary 2022 has reached the second half and Mancunians who are still managing to stick to their pledge to not consume any animal products for the entire month may be in need of a few new places to eat out.

Located in the basement of Northern Quarter haunt Alvarium, Black Leaf is a subterranean vegan restaurant created by head chef Grace Stubbs.

The kitchen prides itself on bold flavours and unusual combinations and the dishes, which are served small plates tapas-style, can be paired up with complimentary beers and wines.
