Of course events will be ongoing in Manchester throughout the six weeks to keep children entertained and provide much-needed respite for parents and caregivers. For many young people the Summer holidays are an adventure and an exciting break from school life offering countless opportunities for fun.

We spoke to Mancunians to find out their fondest memories of school summer holidays and what they would love to do now if they had the chance to take a 6 week break.
