The Green Lab is a restaurant and a fitness space located in the Northern Quarter which has previously only been open in the daytime for customers to enjoy its selection of food which includes brunches, bagels, wraps and nutrition bowls.
Now, though, the place is staying open from 6pm until 10pm every Thursday when it is known as The Night Lab. For this special later-hours experience diners will be able to enjoy a selection of small plates alongside pairings of natural wines.
For the launch of the new concept The Night Lab is serving up a selection of bao buns. Dishes include a classic crispy duck bao with hoisin sauce, cucumber, orange, crispy shallots and spring onions, a char-sui barbecued pork bao bun and one with crispy prawn and sriracha mayonnaise. There are also sides including a crispy duck salad, a pickled cucumber salad, garlic green beans and salt and pepper aubergine. Vegan options are also available.
