Louis has been three years in the making and promises to be an ‘ode to the New York’ of the silver screen. It will be a reservations-only restaurant, open five nights a week for evening service. In keeping with this historic New York theme, the restaurant will have a no photos policy to make sure people focus on the experience as opposed to what goes on their Instagram feed when they leave.
Guests will be seated in booths within a tiered room that has a stage at its centre, meaning everyone has a view of the performances in an intimate environment. The line-up of musicians will include soul singers and pianists, to jazz quartets and full swing bands, highlighting the best up-and-coming talent Manchester has to offer. Each night there will be a different performance.

It will explore how the Mediterranean has influenced American cuisine, including fresh pasta made in the workshop next to the Louis’ kitchen. Head of Beverages, Will Meredith, will also be creating a menu of 12 unique cocktails.
Louis’ will be located at 3 Hardman Square, Spinningfields, Manchester, M33EB. A precise opening date is yet to be announced, but it is set to start welcoming diners in autumn 2024. You can find out more via the Louis’ website or Instagram page.
