Manchester is changing at a rapid rate - and there’s no sign of it slowing down.

So much has changed in over the last few years alone and it is sometimes hard to keep up with all the new developments.  In truth, some places are barely recognisable now compared to 10 years ago.

Whole neighbourhoods have been built in formerly abandoned and derelict areas. But, at the same time, we’ve also lost some local institutions and historic buildings along the way. 

Take a trip down memory lane with us and check out these examples of what popular Manchester spots looked like then and now.
