21. Dance the night away at Moovin Festival or Parklife
If you’re one of the many people who missed out Glastonbury tickets, there are several Manchester festivals for you to enjoy. Moovin is located in Stockport and has seen some big names over the years. There is also Parklife at Heaton Park or Blue Dot over the border in Cheshire. (Credit: Parklife)
22. Take in some art at the Whitworth Art Gallery
The Whitworth is one of Manchester’s best art galleries, with a great selection of exhibitions on offer. It has a great cafe, hosts regular events and there are even some great pieces of public art in the adjoining park. Photo: Marketing Manchester
23. Celebrate Manchester Day
Manchester Day is celebrated in July and involves a whole day of free family fun. Last year, the theme was summer holidays at the seaside, with a helter skelter on Deansgate, as well as a music stage, street performers and food stalls.
24. Support the LGBTQ+ community at Pride
