I got a first look at Manchester bar's giant screen perfect for watching England win the Euros - hopefully

Gareth and the boys are going to absolutely, definitely do it - and this might be the place to enjoy it.

A huge 13ft screen has been unveiled at a popular Manchester venue ready for this summer’s sporting action.

The Lawn Club, in Hardman Square, Spinningfields, has set up the huge screen in partnership with Lucozade ahead of the Euros, Olympics, Wimbledon, and other major sporting events.

The outside area holds up to 184 people and looks ready for a proper atmosphere. Because this is Manchester, the inside seating area is also ready with room for 164 people with another three large screens.

The Lawn Club has just launched a new cocktail menu, including a Blue Hawaiian, Jalapeno & Grapefruit Margarita, as well as all the classics with a few spins, seen with their own Lawnstar Martini.

There’s also a healthy food menu to choose from, with pizza, wings, veggie options, and loaded fries. I tried the truffle chips, a personal favourite, the beef brisket loaded chips, and salt ‘n pepper chips, and can confirm they’ll keep you fuelled through till England definitely, maybe, reach the Euros final.

Entry starts from £10 a head, but you can book for groups of up to 10, with set tickets including free food and booze thrown in.  Tickets are now on sale for England v Serbia on June 16 with that game expected sell out.
