Gemma Atkinson announces birth of second child with fiance Gorka Marquez

The Hits Radio host Gemma Atkinson has announced that she’s given birth to her second child with fiance Gorka Marquez.

She has now confirmed that the couple’s ‘little man’ has made his safe arrival into the world in a typed out message on her Instagram Story. “Little man is here!” Gemma confirmed as they wrote out the message to her millions of followers.

“He arrived safe and sound and he’s utterly wonderful,” the 38-year-old added before sharing a couple more details about their brand new life as a family of four after Gemma and Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka, 32, welcomed their first-born, daughter Mia back in 2019.

“Mia is already the mother hen we expected her to be,” new mum-of-two Gemma went on. “We’re all home together soaking up this lovely little bubble before Gorks has to leave for Strictly rehearsals next week.”

She added: “Thank you for all the lovely well wishes. Our family is complete.”

Gemma and Gorka’s son appeared to make his arrival after the pair shared their last update just a couple of days ago.

The pair met on Strictly when Gemma was a contestant in 2017 before starting up a romance the next year during the show’s arena tour,

The actress and radio host recently revealed she and partner Gorka Marquez are set to star in their very own show, entitled Gemma & Gorka: Life Behind the Lens.

The former Hollyoaks star, 38, said ‘the news is finally out’ as she and Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka, 32, revealed their plans and shared the trailer with their millions of followers and fans on Instagram last month.
