Free wings as US chain Slim Chickens celebrates ‘slimdependence day’ in Manchester on Fourth of July

American chicken chain Slim Chickens is laying it on chick with its Fourth of July celebrations… even renaming it Slimdependence Day.

While Slims has only been in the UK for five years, there are now 45 Slim Chickens restaurants all around the UK – with lots more opening this year (as well as outlets at Haven Holiday sites).

Proud of its American heritage, and recognising how many Brits, including Love Islander Kady McDermott, love its authentic American recipes, Slims is bringing the US holiday party to the UK and say they are hoping that everyone around the country will join them in making this year’s Fourth of July a huge day of Slimdependence celebration.

There are offers galore as part of the celebrations – that will run throughout July across all UK restaurants. Plus will be two new items joining the menu, launching on 4th July, including new Buffalo Blue Loaded Fries and a Caramel Flake flavour being added to its eight-strong hand-spun shake line up. Products will be unveiled on Slim Chickens’ social channels.

You can also get FREE chicken wings (worth £3.95, shakes (worth £5) and a Buttermilk Marinated Tenders Meal (worth £10.45) with its Stamp Card scheme.

Slims is also giving away a trip to New York with £1000 thrown in too for shopping. Anyone who buys a Tenders Meal between June 27 and July 11 and who scans their loyalty card in the app, will be entered into the draw.

As a taster of the discounts during Independence Day month:

• From 3 – 9 July customers will be able to get 4 Solo Buttermilk Marinated Tenders for just £4 (3 Tenders are normally £1.65 each)

• From 10– 16 July get 2 hand-spun shakes for £6 (normal price £5 each)

• From 17– 23 July a Solo Wrap is just £2.49 (normally £8)

• 24 - 30 July all milkshakes will be £3 saving £2 (normal price £5)

• 31 July earn double points on a Slims Stamp Card (to get free wings, shakes and meals)
