To celebrate the week, here’s the best places in Manchester to grab a pie this week.

In business since 2013, Pie & Ale is described as a ‘Personal meat pies & draught beer served in a laid-back, 2-story bar with sidewalk tables.’ on Google.

Equipped with a beer hall, and rooms for hire where live sporting events are also broadcasted, it’s a modern environment for an old British dish.

Pie & Ale is also open seven days a week from 12pm, and was founded by a husband and wife team.

Martin’s Craft Bakery

At Martin’s Craft Bakery, it’s an array of both sweet and savoury pies.

Vegan and vegetarian pies are also served here, with the vegan option being puy lentil and vegetables, topped with carrot and sweet potato mash, served with long stem broccoli.

Patel’s Pies offers a twist on the classic British dish and serves handmade curry pies.

You can grab a pie from Patel’s Pies in various locations in Manchester, like ‘A Taste Of Honey’ in Didsbury, iconic venue ‘BandOnTheWall’, Inner West in Salford and more.

They teamed up with the iconic venue ‘Band on the wall’ and provided the pies for their grand re-opening, showing their credentials.

The pies are very well priced at £4.50, and include tasty options such as Lamb Keema, Desi Chicken and Aloo Matar (Potato & Peas).
