A household name, Greggs have been serving baked goods to the people of Manchester for many years now. Since being founded in Newcastle back in 1939, generations of people across the country have had a taste of what they have to offer. 

Newcastle has long been the almost undisputed Greggs capital, with branches of the bakers spread across the city. However, Manchester is not too far behind with over 20 branches located in the city.

The national chain has announced that it's sales are up nearly a fifth in the last year. Across the country, Greggs opened 63 new shops in that time.
