Hide AdKnoops: Expertly crafted chocolate drinks, founded by Jens Knoop in 2013, opened on the corner of South King's Street and Cross Street in Manchester city centre on Friday 21 April.
There are Knopps stores in places such as London, West Sussex and Cambridge, but this is the first Knoops to open in the North. The hot chocolate shop was launched after Jens felt there was a gap in the market for fully-customisable drinking chocolate, and the company now serves 22 varieties of the beverage.
The shop also allows customers to add flavours and experiment with different chocolate percentages in a process it calls 'Knoopology'. It also serves regular hot drinks such as coffee - which you can add chocolate to if you wish - and milkshakes.
