I tried the Deliveroo Award nominated cafe in Manchester - they had the best vibe!
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
They actually have two cafe’s here in Manchester with one on Hilton street and the other on Peter Street.
I did try to go down on the Easter weekend, but unfortunately they were far too full but if I’m being completely honest, I think that was a good thing because this time I was able to enjoy the relaxed and peaceful vibe in there.

Apart from the weekends they are open from 7:30am till 8pm. Although, they don’t really serve dinner food but more so breakfast and lunch meals throughout most of the day.
I decided to give their April specials a try and sampled the £4 Iced Honey & Lemon Matcha Refresher. I truly felt all the goodness from this drink as I’m currently suffering from a slight cold but this really made me feel rejuvenated. I’m slowly getting used to the Matcha taste and if you’re the same, you might want to go for a vanilla matcha to hide that (often grassy) taste a little more.

For dinner, I tried the £11.50 Halloumi & Roasted Peppers Khobez on flatbread which included: “Pan seared halloumi, roasted peppers, pickled red onion, sesame seeds & rocket with E&G chilli sauce.”

I thought that this meal was so lovely and light with even more healthy goodness.

Hide AdThe staff were great at Ezra & Gil and though they do have some laptop-free tables, I would certainly recommend that you come here to study or work because the atmosphere just fits a study-vibe so nicely.
Overall, you can definitely see why Ezra & Gil are nominated for The Deliveroo Awards 2025. With great food and a relaxing environment, I can’t wait to go back for more!
