Huge collab between Detroit Slims and Bongo's Bingo for amazing pizza party event tomorrow - here's the details

Taking place on Wednesday 1st October, two hours of magic, mayhem and pizza is ready to be unleashed by Bongo’s Bingo’s hosts Rich Furness and Ste Taylor.

One-line bingo and prizes? Confirmed. A free slice of Margherita Slim for everyone through the door? Of course. It’s eyes down, slices up with all kinds of chaos ready to be unleashed in the Oxford Road pizza institution.

Holding court from 6pm – 8pm, Rich and Ste and their dancers are putting the call out for local singers, rappers, dancers and Karaoke queens and kings to join them for two riotous hours of bingo-infused mayhem. With the packed-out crowd ready to voice their approval, the best performers will win Bongo’s Bingo prizes and the chance to bag a coveted Detroit Slims Gold Card – free pizza for a whole year. And of course there will be a liberal dose of bingo-infused mayhem condensed into Detroit Slim’s pizza parlour from start to finish.

The Detroit Slims team fell in love with Detroit-style pizza ever since they visited the incredible city years ago and this inspired them to create Manchester’s finest pizza place. They are also famed for the occasional pop-up party, too, in their wonderful space on Oxford Road.

Bongo’s Bingo’s Manchester home is The Albert Hall and shows take place across the UK. Celebrating a decade of bingo in 2025, it’s a wild fusion of amazing music, crazy prizes, en masse Karaoke, rave rounds, dance-offs, the odd pink unicorn and Henry Hoover and plenty of bingo as part of the UK’s most bonkers, surreal and energetic night, all rolled into one glorious party.
