Greater Manchester pub to undergo massive six-figure renovation with a sports area expansion
The Carousel, a family-friendly pub in the heart of Reddish, Stockport, is set to reopen with an improved look and feel following significant investment.
Located on Reddish Road, the much-loved Flaming Grill pub – part of pub company and brewer Greene King – will temporarily close to the public from 8 September while works take place, with the upgraded venue set to reopen its doors towards the end of the month.
Key features of the investment include a revamp of The Carousel’s interior with sleek décor and furniture, and the toilets will receive a full refurbishment to provide customers with a modern new look.
The pub’s sports area is set to be transformed with the expansion of its darts and pool facilities, while upgraded TV screens will be installed throughout the venue to showcase the latest live fixtures on Sky Sports and TNT Sports, providing an elevated entertainment offering for sports enthusiasts.
Outside, The Carousel’s kerbside appeal will be enhanced with additional lighting and seating in the front garden, complete with new garden furniture to provide guests of all ages with a scenic spot to socialise and enjoy an alfresco refreshment whilst making memories with loved ones.
