Global superar Ed Sheeran has announced a partnership with the Honest Burgers restaurant chain, who have a store on Bridge Street in Manchester.

Ed launched his own sauce brand ‘Tingly Ted’ in February and a TV ad campaign in June. Now the ‘Shivers’ singer has a restaurant collaboration to help really get those tingles going.

Throughout August, anyone who walks in the doors of one of Honest Burgers’ 42 UK restaurants (or orders takeaway via Uber Eats) including Manchester, will be able to grab a special burger “drenched” in Ed’s special sauce.

Also in there will be halloumi, American cheese, crispy onions, avocado ranch mayo, lettuce and pickles.

Sheeran is a huge fan of Honest and featured the restaurant chain in the music video for his song ‘Put It All on Me’ in 2019.

“Honest and Ed go way back”, says Adam Layton, Honest Burgers’ Head Of Food. “So, we were chuffed when the man himself got in touch asking us to be the exclusive restaurant launch partner for Tingly Ted’s. This burger is a world first for the exciting hot sauce brand that is destined to be Ed’s next global smash hit”.

Ed said it took a year to perfect the condiments, saying: “I had a year of whittling down the perfect flavours with a great mixing team, and we settled on two absolute belters. The Tingly and the Xtra Tingly.”

The first 5,000 people to order this burger will get a free bottle of the sauce.

Throughout August, Honest Burgers will ask budding superstars to #buskforyourburger by uploading themselves singing a song, on TikTok or Instagram, and tagging @honestburgers and @tinglyteds with the hashtag to be in with a chance of winning up to £250 to spend in Honest Burgers.
