This show, said to lift the lid on hospitality, comes after the second series of much-acclaimed kitchen comedy-drama ‘The Bear’- its popularity proving that Brits have an appetite for finding out about life behind the scenes of a busy restaurant.

Tom, who is set to join Gary Usher this month for a series of special guest chef events at The White Horse pub in Cheshire, once partnered at The Bull & Bear restaurant, which was housed within the Stock Exchange hotel on Norfolk Street and co-owned by football legends Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs and hotelier Winston Zahra.

He stepped away from the restaurant last year, with its replacement Stock Market Grill closing just a few months after it opened.

In a statement, Kerridge insisted that no falling out had taken place and said his restaurant group felt “the need to concentrate on our Marlow and London sites.”

At the end of last week’s episode a teaser for tonight’s show saw him discussing the move with Gary Neville and preparing a statement - suggesting a light will be shone on what really happened as they parted ways.

Gary is seen debating the headlines with Tom as they discuss “the very difficult decision” saying: “The headline is either Tom Kerridge walks away from Stock Exchange or its Stock Exchange kicks Tom Kerridge out.”
