So, It’s currently Afternoon Tea week and on Sunday (August 13) its National Prosecco Day - what a winning combination.

Bars and restaurants in the city will be vying for attention and over at First Street Bar and Kitchen, owned by celebrity chef Gino Di Campo, there are a number of rewards and special offers to help mark the occassion.

Anyone who dines on National Prosecco Day (August 13) and members of Gino Rewards, Gino’s lifestyle and rewards club, can enjoy a complimentary upgrade to Franciacorta Rosé Afternoon Tea.

Not a member of Gino Rewards?  No problem, guests are invited to sign up on the day and will enjoy an extra £10 welcome gift to redeem on a separate occasion.

The chic Italian restaurant and bar lounge, located at INNSiDE Manchester are offering a hand-picked selection of Prosecco including Cavit DOC Brut (glass: £8.50 / bottle: £34.50) and Lunetta Rosé Millesimato DOC Extra Dry (glass: £8.75 / bottle: £37).

The drinks menu also features Prosecco based cocktails such as Aperol Spritz (£9.25) and Hugo Spritz (£9.25). Between 5pm and 7pm guests can enjoy a selection of complimentary cicchetti.

For guests looking to do a double celebration - a glass of fizz can be combined with afternoon tea - killing two birds with one stone - or should we say scone.
