When is the right time to put up your Christmas tree? We asked Mancunians the important festive question

Christmas is just six weeks away, and with Halloween and Bonfire night behind us, you may have noticed the rapid switch to festive decorations in stores around Manchester.

Our famous Christmas markets are due to open on November 10. They are currently being set up along the city centre streets in preparation for visitors from all over the country.

Although some people might be excited about the festive season and eager to get involved with all things Christmas - others may feel it's a little too soon to set up the decorations.

We asked people in Manchester when they will be putting up their tree and when is an appropriate time to listen to some Christmas music.
