Trafford Centre and Arndale Centre opening times for Christmas and New Year period including Boxing Day

The festive period will soon be here, and many of us will be heading out and about to the shops between now and New Year. Manchester has two large-scale shopping centres, and the festive opening hours for both the Arndale and the Trafford Centre have been announced. 

Like with most shops and businesses around the city, both of the shopping centres have altered hours over the Christmas and New Year period. This means that if you have any last minute shopping to do before Christmas, or if you want to head out for some bargains in the sales, you’ll need to take note. 

Ahead of the festive period, we’ve rounded up the key dates and times for when the two shopping centres will be open. Included in this round up are times for the last weekend before Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. 

Both shopping centres will be closed on Christmas Day, and both will be open for around six hours on Christmas Eve. The Trafford Centre will be open for two hours longer than the Arndale Centre on New Year’s Day.

• December 18-23: 9am- 9pm
• December 24 (Christmas Eve): 11.30am-5pm
• December 25 (Christmas Day): Closed
• December 26 (Boxing Day): 11.30am- 5.30pm
• December 27: 6am-9pm
• December 28-30: 9am- 9pm
• December 31 (New Year’s Eve): 11.30am- 5.30pm
• January 1 (New Year’s Day): 10am-6pm

• December 18-22: 10am – 11pm
• December 23: 10am – 10pm
• December 24: 11am – 5pm
• December 25 (Christmas Day): Closed
• December 26 (Boxing Day): 8am – 8pm
