What is a Korean corndog?

Korean corndogs are similar to American corndogs. The centre is made from either sausage or cheese, or a combination of both, which is then placed on a skewer and dipped in batter and rolled in breadcrumbs. Other toppings are then added – like potato, diced french fries, crushed ramen noodles, or crispy rice – and they are fried until crispy and golden brown.

Bunski’s corn dog menu includes the Original Corn Dog, made with premium chicken ; Half and Half, a combination of chicken sausage and mozzarella cheese, The Potato Corn Dog, premium chicken sausage with potato cubes, and The Beef Corn Dog, made with premium beef sausage.

The menu at Bunsik Manchester will be an extended version of what’s on offer in their London locations and include a wide variety of popular Korean street food dishes. Some of these items include: Kimbap, which is cooked rice, vegetables, fishcake, and meat rolled in dried sheets of seaweed and served in bite-sized slices; Ddukbokki, cylindrical rice cakes cooked in a spicy sauce; Korean fried chicken, which is tossed in a variety of sauces; Cup Bap, which is rice, noodles, broccoli and chicken; plus a variety of Korean chicken burgers.

There will also be plenty to satisfy your sweet tooth, including Bunsik’s brand new and exclusive to Manchester dessert, Bingsu. This is made from frozen cream or milk, and is a type of Korean shaved ice. You then can add toppings like chopped fruit, condensed milk, fruit syrup and red beans. Bunsik also offers a wide range of bubble teas.
