A number of Greater Manchester restaurants have been nominated in this year’s Asian Curry Awards.
Dubbed the “Curry Oscars,” the awards, organised by the Asian Catering Federation (ACF), celebrate the whole range of Asian cuisines, including Bangladeshi, Burmese, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Middle Eastern, Pakistani, Singaporean, Sri Lankan, Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese restaurants and takeaways.
Online voting is now via the Asian Curry Awards website, which will whittle the shortlist down from 200 to 100. A panel of judges will then assess the restaurants and determine the category winner.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner and ceremony in London on 19 November.
