It’s surprising just how many household names hail from Bolton. The former mill town, located in between Manchester and Blackburn, has been home to some of the nation’s favourite celebs.
Boltonians have been flying the flag for the North on the international and national stage for decades – from Fred Dibnah’s much loved TV series in the eighties and nineties to Peter Kay selling out arenas in seconds.
