Emirates is  recruiting cabin crew for its flights across the world and will be hosting  open days in Manchester in November. The airline, based in Dubai, is hosting two open days in Manchester where people interested in a career in the aviation sector can come with their CV for a chance of getting a job.

Emirates serves over 150 cities across 85 countries around the world and is one of the world’s leading airlines. Cabin crew members employed by Emirates live in Dubai and accommodation is provided by the company to all employees.

On Thursday, November 3 and Monday, November 28 at 9 am, Emirates is hosting open recruitment days at Hilton Manchester and  applicants attending the event  should bring a CV and photo as long as all the criteria are met.

The recruitment open days have a dress code that all applicants must follow. Women should wear their hair neatly tied back, wear full makeup and business attire as well as heels. While  men should have their hair nearly presented, their face clean shaven and wear a suit or smart business attire with  formal work shoes.

What is the salary of Emirates cabin crew

Emirates offers all its  cabin crew members a starting salary of £1,040 per month plus £15 per hour while flying. The average total monthly salary is £2,280 per month and it’s all tax-free.

Emirates cabin crew member requirements

To become a part of the Emirates team, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage)
  • A natural team player with a personality that shines
  • At least 160cm tall and able to reach 212cm high
  • Able to meet the UAE’s employment visa requirements
  • At least 1 year of hospitality or customer service experience
  • A minimum of high school (Grade 12) education
  • No visible tattoos while in Emirates cabin crew uniform
