Manchester and the North West’s best to worst universities have been published in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide for 2023, which reveals the 11 universities in the city and the region and their ranking.
The league table encompasses data including graduate prospects, degree results, research quality, and student satisfaction and experience.

Here’s how Manchester's and the other universities around the North West ranked in the academic league table:
1. University of Manchester - National rank 24
The University of Manchester also dropped by one place to 24 from 2022 to 2023, securing a total score of 714. | University of Manchester
2. University of Liverpool - National rank 33

3. Manchester Metropolitan University - National rank 60
