Turnover has soared at the property development business which is bringing forward what would be Manchester's tallest skyscraper in a partnership with Hollywood superstar Robert De Niro's Nobu Hospitality.

Salboy Ltd is the property development business of betting entrepreneur Fred Done and co-founder Simon Ismail.

This year, the business announced it was working in partnership with luxury lifestyle brand Nobu Hospitality on a landmark development in Manchester, featuring a hotel, restaurant, and the UK’s first Nobu-branded residences.

Nobu Hospitality is backed by Hollywood icon Robert De Niro and restaurant entrepreneur Nobu Matsuhisa. Viadux 2 will be Nobu's first residential project in the UK.

In results for the year to 31 March 2025, turnover at Salboy leapt from £48.5m to £90.9m.

Growth was attributed to the "positive ongoing progress of the development projects".

Overall gross profit margin dropped in its latest results, with profit before taxation decreasing from £1.7m to £1.4m.
