UK's first Australian-style sushi venue to open in Manchester
Hand rolls, which have achieved sandwich-like ubiquity in Aussie lunch culture, take centre stage on the menu, offering a delicious fusion of traditional Japanese techniques with Aussie quality and creativity.
The hand roll format was invented in Melbourne in the late 1990s, before becoming popularised in the early 2000s, eventually becoming what Aussie’s consider the norm of sushi. With Rolled, Founder Adam Miller and his team aim to introduce Manchester to this convenient hand-held format, drawing inspiration from popular recipes in Australia whilst introducing their own fresh take on it, with rolls such as the Spicy Tuna, Crispy Chicken, Salmon Smashed Avo and The Bondi Roll; Aussie breakfast in a roll.

“We have real ambition for Rolled, with the aim of establishing the brand as the UK’s largest and most loved sushi chain. We’re excited to launch the concept in Manchester, with a view to expanding across the country, one hand roll at a time!”
