Christmas has arrived early at a care home in Stockport, where a Christmas ceremony was held.

The team at Care UK’s Ladybrook Manor, on Dairyground Road, held an afternoon of festive fun to help spread festive cheer.

The home kicked off the event with a big countdown and lighting of the Christmas tree which was switched on by a member of Ladybrook Manor’s concierge, Sharon.

Following the light switch-on, Ladybrook Manor residents and guests rocked around the Christmas Tree to seasonal songs performed by female vocalist, Carla, which was enjoyed alongside mulled wine and mince pies, prepared by the home’s Chef, Nikki Bell.

Christmas is an important time of year for bringing people together and spreading joy, and our Christmas fair was a great opportunity to do both, while also having some festive fun.

“We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate the festive season with us, and we’d like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas from all of us here at Ladybrook Manor!”
