The production from organisers Backyard Cinema is to reimagine Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 classic

From tomorrow through until Sunday, love and tragedy are to collide as Backyard Cinema’s critically acclaimed production of Romeo + Juliet takes over the stunning Albert Hall, for an unmissable four-day cinematic residency.

From 4th to 7th, audiences can experience this breathtaking reimagining of Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 cult classic, with evening performances at 7:00pm and special matinees at 2:00pm on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th September.

Considered a fully immersive event, guests will step into a unique atmosphere, with a candlelit setting transforming the Albert Hall into the streets of Verona. As the film plays, a live choir and band will bring to life the soundtrack and its hits including “Young Hearts Run Free,” “Everybody’s Free,” “Kissing You,” and “When Doves Cry”.
