Manchester’s rising stars of interior design win big at Northern Design Awards 2024

Manchester-based designer Natalie Holden is celebrating a landmark achievement after her studio, Natalie Holden Interiors, won two prestigious accolades at this year’s Northern Design Awards.

The studio was recognised in the categories of Interior Decoration – Private Residence (Project Under £500k), and Interior Decoration – Private Residence (Project Under £100k), affirming its place among the most exciting names in the North West’s design scene.

The Northern Design Awards, which were hosted at Liverpool’s St George’s Hall in late November, are one of the most esteemed events in the design calendar, bringing together top talent from across the region to celebrate exceptional creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation.

Winning two awards at this level is a testament to Natalie’s distinctive approach to interior design and her commitment to creating authenticity in homes that balance beauty, practicality, and individuality.

Natalie’s journey is one of passion and perseverance. She began her career in 2010 by sharing her love for interiors, architecture, and design through a personal blog. What started as a creative outlet soon evolved into a thriving business when Natalie launched her studio in 2018. Since then, she’s built a reputation for designing homes that not only look stunning but also enrich her clients’ lives.

Reflecting on the double win, Natalie said: “Winning not just one, but two awards at the Northern Design Awards 2024 was an incredible experience, and I just wasn't expecting it at all due to the calibre of projects entered.

“Our team is absolutely thrilled, and it gives us the motivation and belief in what we're doing. Hopefully this will lead us on to do bigger and better things next year!"
