Manchester’s Corn Exchange Welcomes New Centre Manager

With 26 years of experience in the retail and property sectors, Dave brings extensive expertise and a proven track record of innovation to one of Manchester’s most iconic schemes.

Having built his career working across the North West of England and Wales, Dave has previously held key roles managing shopping centres, offices and commercial space. Most recently, he joined Cushman & Wakefield, where he will now lead the Corn Exchange into its next exciting chapter as it celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2025.

The Corn Exchange is a historical landmark boasting stunning Edwardian architecture including an iconic Glass Dome dating back to the 1900s. The building was beautifully repurposed in 2015 into a gastronomic haven and entertainment hub and is now home to 13 restaurants serving cuisine from around the globe, alongside leisure activities including Sixes Social Cricket and Escape Hunt and a 114-bed Roomzzz Aparthotel.

Commenting on his new role, Dave said: "I’m extremely excited to take the reins at Manchester’s Corn Exchange. Manchester is a city close to my heart, filled with rich history, culture and diversity and one that is constantly moving forward. Despite wider UK economy challenges, Corn Exchange continues to be an incredibly popular city centre destination with both footfall and sales up again this year, with some operators recording their best annual trading to date. I’m very much looking forward to building on this success especially as we head into a milestone year for the scheme which will see us host a series of events and activities to celebrate its ten year anniversary. For now however, we’re in full festive mode welcoming customers over the busy Christmas period!”
