Manchester attraction launches 40% discount whenever England play at this year's Euros

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester has launched a 40% discount on days when England play at this year's Euros.

To celebrate the offer, the attraction has also revealed England's greatest player of all time through a nationwide survey.

The poll of 2,000 adults in England found that Sir Bobby Charlton, World Cup 1966 winner, is the nation's favourite player of all time, beating out stiff competition from the likes of Harry Kane and Bobby Moore.

England's top five players of all time:

David Beckham (23%)

Harry Kane (12%)

Bobby Moore (11%)

Alan Shearer (7%)

Fans can secure the 40% off brick-tastic offer on Sunday June 16th, Thursday June 20th and Tuesday June 25th, with further dates to be added should England be lucky enough to progress to the tournament’s knock-out stages.

Elsewhere in the survey, a third of fans stated they believe football will be coming home this summer, putting their faith in the nation to claim European glory at this year’s tournament.

If that is the case, Gareth Southgate will hope that the murmurs of discontent in his management will be put to bed, with four in ten (40%) England fans stating they would like Southgate to remain in charge.

However, some Brits are ready for a change, with former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp becoming the public’s choice to take over the England hot seat should Gareth Southgate be replaced.
