Get Marie-d in style with help from Marie Curie’s first Bridal pop up shop

From Friday 12 July until Wednesday 28 August the charity shop on London Road is offering budget-conscious brides-to-be the chance to purchase a range of wedding attire rather than its usual selection of donated items.

Despite the cost-of-living crisis, the average wedding now costs £24,710 but Marie Curie is selling a range of preloved and new wedding dresses ranging from £150 - £400. Unlike traditional wedding shops no appointment is needed, and customers can just pop in and browse the store and find the dress of their dreams.

Bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride outfits and suits as well as accessories including tiara’s, hats, shoes, and bags are also available at a fraction of their usual price.

Marie Curie provides expert end of life care for people with any illness they are likely to die from, in the comfort of their own home or at one of our hospices, and support for their family and friends.

With the cost-of-living crisis still at the forefront of everyone’s minds and so many shoppers opting for sustainable fashion, we are pleased to be offering preloved and new items at reasonable prices, all the while helping to raise vital funds for end of life care for people in Cheshire and across the UK.

“The shop has already attracted some attention and one mum passing by when we were setting up - saw a bridesmaid dress through the window which was perfect for her daughter Sadie’s confirmation.”
